On a happier note, I spoke with another Chrysler Dealership Service Manager and told him my woes. He wants me to give him a chance to make a better experience before I try selling my car. SO....that being said, I was so excited I washed and waxed my car today.

UNBELIEVABLE! I was driving to my hair appointment yesterday evening and my car just died. Boom dead. I discovered that the steering isn't so great when the car is stalled. Very scary moment. Anyway, car is back into the shop. The new shop. Wish me luck!

Well, the latest update on my car. New dealer couldn't find anything wrong. They were so nice though at the new shop. So my friend and I went to get my car. We were driving home and 20 minutes into the drive home, car dies. THANK GOODNESS I was in the far right lane so I was able to coast to the side of the road. I'm awaiting for the tow truck now to return the car to the new shop. The advisor was very apologetic. The old shop my advisor was less than nice.
What happened with my car both times was I drove it for approximately 20 minutes and it just dies. The car won't start right away, but will start after an hour or so. I'm thinking it has something to do with my car getting heated. But don't know. Any of you have any clues? Will keep you updated.

Hey Rabbit................I'm going to say that it is a computer control module that is over-heating, either on its own or engine compartment heat, and then expiring causing the Xfire to die.
Doubt if it is a fuel problem because it would then cough and sputter and then maybe die but you are not stating the coughing and sputtering part. Car is not getting ignition which seems like an electrical problem........ie computer control module or something along those lines.
Let's see how close I am on that???
One thing that surprises me is that you haven't mentioned a "check engine" light indicator coming on????

The check engine light didn't come on the first time, the second time it did.
VERDICT:
First they told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Hello?
THEN I got the call that the Crankshaft Module needs to be replaced and it's NOT covered under any of my warranties so will run me about $900 for the part plus labor.

Yes, the Crankshaft Sensor Module; without that working, your ignition system has no idea where the crankshaft positioning is and the timing either goes 'wonky' or just quits completely!
Too bad, the result is still 'wonky' and expensive.
That is why I never got caught up on one of those 'expensive' extended warranty programs, because they only cover half the stuff and the other half is 'electronics' which is what your going to have a problem with in the first place (you can bet on it, anyways).
